At Great American Kites & Events, we always appreciate events that give families a reason to get outside and make memories together. Hosted at the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame, Barnyard Babies Family Festival did exactly that.

What Families Enjoyed

The event featured a strong lineup of attractions, including barnyard animals, pony rides, a scenic train ride, honey harvesting demonstrations, corn piles, antique tractors, and other farm-inspired activities throughout the grounds.

An Animal-Inspired Kite Connection

One especially fun part of the day was the event's connection to Great American Kites. According to the official event page, guests took a hay wagon ride to see Great American Kites' giant animal-shaped kites dancing in the sky.

That visual element added another layer to the experience and gave families something large-scale and memorable to enjoy alongside the animal encounters and farm activities.

Barnyard Babies Family Festival 2026 was held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame in Bonner Springs. Official admission was $10 for ages 13 and up, $8 for ages 3–12, and free for ages 2 and under.

For families who attended, the event offered a great mix of education, entertainment, spring weather, and memorable outdoor fun.
